Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Dank Bowls, we offer local delivery to Charlotte-area customers every Sunday and Wednesday between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Our goal is to make sure your food arrives fresh, on time, and hassle-free.

Delivery Zone & Fees

We currently offer local delivery to addresses within 9 miles of Uptown Charlotte.

  • $5 Delivery fee for orders within 6 miles of Uptown
  • $8 Delivery fee for orders between 6-9 miles of Uptown
  • We do not deliver outside of the 9-mile radius at this time

These rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

Delivery Schedule

Each bowl is assigned a specific delivery date, which is listed in the product title (e.g., “Beef & Farro Fuego (May 14)”.

  • Deliveries are made only on the date listed for each bowl
  • You will receive a text message with an estimated delivery time between 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM on delivery day

How Your Food Arrives

All food is delivered refrigerated and ready to heat. If you won’t be home during the delivery window, we strongly recommend leaving a cooler or insulated drop-off location to keep your food safe and fresh.

Multiple Delivery Dates in One Order

If you purchase items with different delivery dates in a single order, each date requires a separate delivery trip. While our system currently charges only one delivery fee per order, we will contact you to arrange payment for any additional delivery(s) when applicable.

Missed Deliveries

If you're not home during the delivery window and no delivery instructions (e.g., porch, cooler, front desk) are provided, we will:

  • Attempt to contact you via text or phone
  • If safe, leave your order at the doorstep
  • If no contact is made and no drop-off location is appropriate, your order may be forfeited without refund

Special Instructions

You can leave delivery instructions at checkout (e.g., “Leave in cooler on porch” or “Buzz front door”) to help ensure a smooth handoff.
